Andrea Carigma.

Carigma. Narito ang kanyang buong post:

"LET US PUT THINGS IN PERSPECTIVE.

Every day more than 70 people lose their lives to TB in the Philippines needlessly. Many of these patients develop drug resistant tuberculosis, which are more expensive and difficult to treat.

SEVENTY PEOPLE LOSE THEIR LIVES TO TB PER DAY.

SEVENTY.

PER DAY.

About 1 million Filipinos have active TB disease. This is the third highest prevalence rate in the world, after South Africa and Lesotho.

This is 2019 data from WHO.

And I don’t see you panic about it.

The recommendations have always been the same:

Cover your mouth when you cough.
Wash your hands frequently.
Avoid touching surfaces and then your face.
Maintain a healthy lifestyle.
Consult a doctor when you are sick.

A lot of hysteria is misplaced.
A lot of funds are misplaced.
